The hospitality committee is responsible for recognizing the tremendous Faculty/Staff at our school throughout the year. This includes all appreciation/recognition days except Teacher Appreciation Week. This also includes a welcome back breakfast in August, January and March to be coordinated with the PTO Executive Board and school administration.
On Friday, December 20th, 2024, our GES Staff participated in a fun game of Minutes-to-Win-It! Brought to you by the PTO as requested by the social committee. Thanks to Mrs. Day for helping make this day a success and executing the vision. 'Twas the night before winter break and all through the halls, a christmas carol would play to alert everyone of the next challenge. During seven different rounds, five randomly chosen teachers had to dash from their classrooms to try to complete the challenge first and make it to the office to claim their prizes. The game was well received and word from Mrs. Blaemire and Mrs. Holmes has it that the staff had A LOT of fun!
