One of our primary goals is to provide all Greenville students and staff with the tools and resources necessary to ensure a high quality educational experience. Our largest expense each year, by far, is our teacher reimbursement program which provides $100 to each certified employee in the Fall (and usually another $100 in the Spring) to help offset the cost of classroom materials. Other yearly expenses typically include providing funds to support the Leveled Book Room, school Publishing Center, Innovation Lab, Kindergarten and 5th grade promotion ceremonies, and hosting events like the Achievement Fun Fair, Spooktacular, and Beach Bash.
To keep up with the costs of our activities, our fundraising efforts consist of direct donations, spirit wear, White House ornaments, small profits on food and drink at in-person events, and several benefit programs (listed below). Since we don't typically engage in large-scale 3rd party fundraisers (Boosterthons, etc.) it is even more important that we are successful with the fundraising opportunities we do pursue.

Box Tops For Education
The Box Tops For Education program has been a great resource for the Greenville PTO through the years. The program has undergone drastic changes in the past year or so. Gone are the days of clipping box tops. You can now download the Box Tops For Education app on your phone, setup your account to benefit Greenville Elementary School in Nokesville, Virgina, and scan your receipts using the app. You can even forward emailed receipts to email@example.com, but be sure you are forwarding from the same email account that your register with.

We will gladly accept any and all direct donations. 100% of these donations will go back into the school via teacher reimbursements, supporting one of our in-school programs like the Leveled Book Room or Publishing Center, or aiding us in hosting one of our many events. You can link your Harris Teeter VIC card to Greenville PTO on-line at https://www.harristeeter.com/together-in-education. Just sign-in to your account and link, or re-link, your card to 7167 GREENVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, NOKESVILLE, VA. Harris Teeter requires you to re-link your card once each year, so please sign-in and make sure that your grocery purchases are supporing the Greenville PTO. As an alternative, you can ask a cashier at the store to link your VIC card to the Greenville PTO account using CODE 7167, and they should be able to set you up.
